Without Burden

This project was influenced by the issues, experiences and interests that connected at an intersection in my life journey. Before 1990 at least six people I knew were killed by AIDS.  Fifteen years after these conversations were recorded around May 1991, I revisited this project to explore the relevance of this discourse for a public exhibit.  The issues have shifted slightly but far too many in the Black community still linger in darkness around HIV infection. — Sean Drakes
